We are happy to keep you informed: on our blog, in product descriptions and via NussLetter, you will regularly receive tips on the origin, health benefits and correct storage of nuts and dried fruit.

Our products are made from pure organic ingredients. Many items are unsalted and unsweetened and are therefore also suitable for special diets such as vegan, gluten-free or sugar-free. Detailed information on allergens can be found with every product in the store.

As all packs are filled fresh by hand, we check every batch for quality and freshness before it is dispatched. Traceability back to the origin of the goods is an important part of our quality standards.

We attach great importance to transparent origin and prefer goods from other European countries whenever possible. We avoid raw materials from China as a matter of principle, except for goji berries (as 99.5 % of the cultivation areas are located there >). This allows us to keep an eye on quality, taste and working conditions.

Our products are filled by hand and fresh to order and packaged with great care – each pack is freshly made, checked and then lovingly hand-sewn and sealed. Our packaging is made of pure paper, tested for food safety. This keeps the nuts and dried fruit fresh, flavorful and environmentally friendly at the same time – because we believe that enjoyment and sustainability go hand in hand. Nevertheless, you should always store the products in a cool, dry place or repack them in a glass tupperware or other sealable container, as the paper does not keep out moisture or protect them from drying out. We see our packaging more as a means of transportation to your home.

Don’t worry – this white coating is not usually mold, but a completely natural phenomenon in sugar-rich, untreated dried fruit such as figs, dates or apricots. This is so-called crystallized fruit sugar, which occurs when the fruit ripens over time. The concentrated sugar from the inside of the fruit comes to the surface and forms a fine, white layer. This sometimes looks like mold, but is actually a sign of quality and a sign of the high, natural sugar content of untreated fruit. This does not affect the quality or edibility of the fruit – quite the opposite!

We take quality very seriously: our farm is regularly inspected by the organic inspection body ProCert AG in accordance with Swiss organic standards (CH-BIO086 certificate) – and cantonal food inspections complete the picture. NussFee.ch We also have our raw materials tested internally and externally in the laboratory, for example for heavy metals, bacteria or chemical residues. This is how we ensure that your nut and dried fruit parcels arrive clean, pure and ready to enjoy.

At D’NussFee, we attach great importance to the fact that our nuts, seeds and dried fruit are grown organically, without unnecessary additives, without chemical residues and with respect for nature and the environment. Our supply chains are transparent and traceable, so you can be sure: when you buy from us, you get hand-packed, tested quality – simply natural and delicious.
